OUR POLITICAL MOVEMENT
Empowering the Community
Founded in 2020, Northern Heart was created, in order to provide a rallying point, for those who have become disengaged, disheartened, or left without any ‘real’ representation from the main political offerings locally, regionally and nationally. We are people that form part of the communities, boroughs, and regions we hope to serve. We are a voice of common sense, your voice, upholding your views.
Consisting of local people with local connections, listening to community concerns and aspirations for our towns, that are being diminished by poor management, ill-conceived plans and bad financial planning and spending.
We will initially seek election to council chambers, to provide a community voice, with a focus on honesty, transparency and response to genuine local issues. We welcome all that choose to stand with us, regardless of prior political allegiance, providing we share the same ‘core values’ and a heart that is open, to providing a joint message of renewal, together.
OUR ETHOS
What We Believe
We believe in free speech and that nobody should be silenced.
As a party, we believe in ‘freedom of speech’ and champion for those who find themselves subjected to the ridiculous extremes of today’s cancel culture. For whilst we support, equality, diversity and civil liberty, we feel that the inclusion of acts of symbolism, taken directly from the field of American sport, is inappropriate to the ethos of standing shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with each other.
We are therefore patrons of the Free Speech Union (FSU) and resist the current bandwagon riding and woke virtue signalling, with its pernicious move towards critical race theories, destruction of history and preventing debate and discussion from providing a collective solution.

Northern Heart, is founded upon the bedrock of environmental protection, mutual support and sharing of ideas and resources, to make sure that the strongest and most coherent approach is adopted, in partnership together and with one voice.
Our success is driven by the hearts, minds and souls of those that care within our local communities, people that have watched as towns and villages have declined for years, and who are now prepared to act with others to say, enough is enough!
People just like you, that want to see your town prosper again, with safe streets, clean and welcoming communal areas, and good housing stock, inhabited by considerate neighbours. A town where we can smile again!
