WHY IS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION SUCH A PROBLEM?

There has been a growing sense of unease and frustration with governments of all colours over the years, as illegal immigration seems to swell and grow, year upon year without any sign of it ever being controlled.

You might recall the setting of targets by the Conservatives, promising to bring it down to the tens of thousands, from the hundreds of thousands. The promise of a strong pair of hands, in dealing with the issue, under the control of supposed hard-line Home Secretaries.

Then you look around and watch the nightly news reports on TV, as small craft that ventured out into choppy seas in Calais, land upon the ‘white-cliff’ shoreline, emptying their contents, happy to have arrived in the ‘land of milk and honey’!

So why is it such a problem?

Well the truth is that it is very difficult to deport an illegal once arrived, which is down to this nation being a signatory to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).  So with no documentation to show who these people really, as it was often lost overboard as they sought desperately to reach the UK from the totalitarian regimes and war torn dangers of France, with stories of oppression and torture added as lubricant to their claim for asylum.

Authorities are at a loss as to what they can do, other than process and deal with them in the best way they know how. . .

Which is?

Ship them up north to Labour Councils who will happily accept them and the money that accompanies them, to pay the rent and council tax.

You see, such dispersal suits the three usual suspects agendas perfectly, as it keeps the problem well away from leafy Tory shires in the south and places it squarely at the door of Labour Councils, who are by their very nature internationalists, wishing to solve the problems of the world, right here in your home town and more often than not, desperate for more cash.

There is also another opportunist benefit that Labour sees within this tide of humanity, and that is, more supporting votes for their ideology!  Meanwhile the Conservative Shires dodge a bullet and keep their streets free from such people, such problems and in so doing also benefit electorally as custodians of the England of old!

You see the vast majority of Conservative councils simply opt out of the ‘Asylum and Refugee Relocation scheme’, preferring a simpler life, free from any issues that might accompany such tides of humanity in search of a new life.  Issues such as, social housing, where the needs of the ‘new arrivals’ far outweigh those already waiting on some housing list, or stuck for years, in the back bedroom at their parent’s home.

Is there a solution?

Well, first they needed to revoke ECHR requirements as we left the EU and were freed from the obvious repercussions and hand wringing from Brussels and other member states. But that bonfire of red tape never happened, and they shy away from imagining the uproar if any UK government was to do that on the world stage.

Having said that . . . 

Other nations are doing far-worse, to their own people at the moment, on the back of Covid control. Vaccine mandates Jabs4Jobs and the relentless move towards a Chinese style Social Credit Society.

The simple way to at least ease the problem for northern towns is for councils to also opt out of the relocation scheme.  Thereby sending the problem back and ensuring that any dispersal then follows a path of equal distribution, across the nation, including those leafy Shires of Conservatism.
