Chorlton Park is an electoral ward in the Metropolitan Borough of Manchester. It elects three Councillors to Manchester Metropolitan Borough Council using the first past the post electoral method, electing one Councillor every year without election on the fourth.

Different parts of this ward are represented by different MPs following boundary changes in 2018; the majority of the ward is part of the Manchester Withington constituency, but a portion is part of the Manchester Gorton constituency. Chorlton Park borders Stretford, Sale, Didsbury, Withington, and Whalley Range. The River Mersey runs past Chorlton along its southern boundary.

It will continue to build on its economic assets and strengths in financial and professional services; creative, digital and new media; advanced manufacturing and life sciences. It will also continue to support Manchester residents to develop the skills they need access jobs and to benefit from the economic success of the city.

Its priorities around growth will be linked to its ambitions to support and invest in people through the reform of public services. It will deliver services that foster aspiration, independence and resilience, and that open up pathways into employment through education and skills. This will help to reduce the demand on expensive, reactive services.
