Moston is an electoral ward in the Metropolitan Borough of Manchester. It elects three Councillors to Manchester Metropolitan Borough Council using the first past the post electoral method, electing one Councillor every year without election on the fourth.

Moston is approximately 3 miles north-east of the city centre. Historically in Lancashire, Moston is a predominantly residential area of approximately 1,300 acres. Moston is bordered by Harpurhey, to the east by Failsworth and by Newton Heath and Monsall to the south.
