North Middleton is an electoral ward in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale. It elects three Councillors to Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council using the first past the post electoral method, electing one Councillor every year without election on the fourth.

Rochdale Council is delivering a major investment programme so it can continue to transform the borough and bring in more jobs, investment and prosperity.

This programme, known as the Rochdale Growth Plan 2020–2030, will focus on key things like creating new homes, particularly on former brownfield sites.

Rochdale Council will also focus on developing town centres, improving sustainable transport, investing in railway stations and restoring heritage sites.

This Growth Plan will be delivered alongside a new Inclusive Skills, Work and Health Plan which will ensure residents will benefit from, and are ready for, the new opportunities growth will bring.

As the only council in Greater Manchester to benefit from a dedicated investment agency, Rochdale Development Agency (RDA), inward investors have access to a fully comprehensive package of future years. Underpinning all this will be an even more comprehensive transport and digital infrastructure to give our residents better access to the jobs and opportunities we’re working to create.
